Can You Really Make Money With Paid Surveys?

Are Paid Surveys a Viable Work-at-Home Option?

The sites are everywhere – promising you can make up to $100 per hour just by participating in paid surveys. But are the promises realistic or are they just another pie in the sky story? The answer may be surprising.

You Can Make Money from Surveys

You can make money taking surveys from the comfort of your home, but you’re not going to make tons of money doing it. Companies are willing to pay you with cash or products to get your opinions on their products and services, but if you’re expecting to make $100 per hour, don’t hold your breath. Try more like $5 to $25 per survey and you might be able to do one to two surveys a week on average.

Don’t Pay for the Privilege

First and foremost, the legitimate survey companies will not charge you to get paid for surveys. There are some subscription sites that will charge you for a list of companies that offer these surveys, but you can find the same information without paying a fee.

To get a list of companies that offer surveys without having to pay for it, visit these websites:

NPD Online Research is a company that will pay you for your opinions without charging a fee.

Greenfield Online doesn’t pay you for surveys, but they’ll enter you into a cash drawing for each survey you participate in.
