Cell phones

If you’re like me and not a spring chicken anymore, phones can be more of an annoyance than a help. But because I realize that, yes, every once in a blue moon, I need a phone; I broke down and got one. Problem is I can’t hear very well on it and without my glasses on, I can’t see who is calling.

Joni Blecher understands. She started a site called letstalk. This site will trouble-shoot the problem you are having with your phone or give you advice on which phone is the best for your needs. No need to shop through hundreds of confusing cell phones anymore.

Computers

When Mike Cermak realized that it wasn’t only his family who had “issues” with their home computers, he followed what he loved – learning about computers – and started Techguy. This site has grown and now has an established database of computer problems and 450,000 members who will help you fix your computer.

I recently used this site to help me get rid of a pesky virus that had taken over my computer. With the help of these kind people, they told me how to fix it. With their help, I fixed my computer with no problem and for free.

Appliances

If you are having problems with some of your appliances, and who isn’t, Repairclinic is for you. This site gives you information to troubleshoot most any problem a home appliance can have complete with detailed drawings and directions.
