Don’t Forget to Check Your Tire Pressure

Not Checking Your Tire Pressure Can Lead to Problems on the Road

When’s the last time you checked your tire pressure? Believe it or not, you should be checking your tire pressure at least once a month. If you’re not checking your tire pressure regularly, you may be causing your tires to wear out earlier than they should and you may even be putting yourself at risk of an accident!

Tire Pressure Matters

Your ideal tire pressure, which is posted either on your car door or in your glove compartment, is an important part of your safety on the road. If your tire pressure is too low, you may experience problems with handling of the vehicle and you could find yourself having a hard time stopping when you need to. In addition to being dangerous, if your tire pressure is too low it could be costing you money since your tires will wear out more quickly than if you had maintained proper tire pressure.

An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure

Make sure that you check your tire pressure regularly and add air to your tires when necessary. And don’t forget to check your spare! Even though you’re not using it, your spare is probably losing tire pressure too.
