Get a Great Deal on an iPod

An iPod Doesn’t Have to Cost an Arm and a Leg

If you’re up on your music technology, you know that iPod is the hottest thing to have hit the market in a long, long time. If you don’t yet have your own iPod, you don’t know what you’re missing. They fit in the palm of your hand and they’re capable of holding hundreds of songs and the sound quality is excellent. Up until now, the only problem has been the pricing. Fortunately, that’s no longer an issue.

An iPod for Every Budget

There’s now an iPod for every budget. While the standard iPod comes in at a whopping $300 or more, there’s now the iPod Nano and the iPod Shuffle, which have leveled the financial playing field when it comes to iPod pricing. Starting at $149 for 1GB of storage, the iPod Nano is a great deal and the iPod Shuffle (holding about 120 songs), starts out at about $69 and is an even cheaper option.

Get an iPod for Even Cheaper

If you go to Apple’s website and look in their online store, you’ll notice a section for refurbished merchandise. In that section you’ll see refurbished iPods for even cheaper prices. But that’s not the only way to get a discounted iPod.

In the brick and mortar Apple stores, they sell something called refreshed iPods. You won’t see them in the store, you have to ask a store employee for them specifically. These are iPods that were purchased but were returned for one reason or another. The store takes the iPod return, makes sure it’s in proper working order and there’s nothing wrong with it and then sells it to the public at a reduced price.

You can save quite a bit of money by purchasing a refreshed iPod rather than a brand new one, so if you have an Apple store near you, you might want to consider asking them if they have any refreshed iPods in stock.

iPod Accessories

Now it’s no secret to iPod owners that there are a ton of accessories to go along with your iPod. These accessories can add up to a lot of money, so here’s a word of advice. Get your iPod accessories on eBay and save yourself a pretty penny.
