Have You Purchased an Entertainment Book Yet?

Why An Entertainment Book May Be Your New Best Friend

All who know me know I'm really into coupons, but I'll be the first to admit that not all coupons are created equal. There are times, however, when coupons can stretch your dollar further than you ever imagined possible, which is why I absolutely adore the Entertainment book and buy one each year. Don't know what an Entertainment book is? You don't know what you're missing.

What's an Entertainment Book?

Imagine a big book filled with nothing but coupons... That is an Entertainment book. They're published each year for specific areas across the country and they offer savings on local dining, entertainment and household services. From buy one, get one restaurant coupons to half-price yoga classes, the Entertainment book has it all.

What are the Deals Like?

So why am I so in love with the Entertainment book? They really are jam-packed with great deals. For example, one of the Chicago-area Entertainment books offer AMC Theaters Silver Experience tickets for just $6 each, 20% off your bill at Buffalo Wild Wings, and buy one brownie and drink and get one brownie and drink free at Mrs. Fields. And these are just three random coupons! There are literally hundreds more.

The Price

So how much is an Entertainment book going to cost you? It really depends on the area you live in and whether or not Entertainment is running a sale. You can get a book for as little as $5 or as much as $50, but even if you pay full price for one of the more expensive areas, you're getting a steal since the book can pay for itself with a single coupon.

If you like to dine out, hit the theaters or if you just own a car and want discount oil changes, then the Entertainment book is for you. I use mine religiously and save hundreds each year.
