People Who Love To Shop Need Return Policies

Love To Shop? Love to Save!

Most girls just love to shop, and many enjoy trying new lotions and makeup, particularly preteens and teens. If you’re the parent of a preteen girl you probably know just what I’m talking about. Perhaps your bathroom is lined with a dozen or more different bottles of brand name shampoos, conditioners, and bath products. No doubt, you or your teen (okay, most likely you) has probably spent a small bundle of money on all of these products. Sadly enough, most of them probably end up going unused. Perhaps, the miracle shampoo your teen purchased for $18 didn’t result in super shiny hair like the label promised. There is a solution, though. Take advantage of return policies. If you love to shop, you cannot afford to ignore return policies.

What You Don't Know CAN Cost You

Many consumers don’t even realize that a lot of stores offer return policies for beauty products if you aren’t satisfied with the product for any reason. Companies really have to do this. The market is competitive. Just enter the mall entrance of any department store and what are you greeted with? Makeup counters, and dozens of them!

There are so many beauty product brands that are sold at department stores: Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Lanacome, and Origins. Competition is fierce. Cosmetic companies have to provide consumers with a satisfaction-guarantee promise in order to draw customers to buy their products. That means as a consumer you can take advantage of a new lipstick shade or shampoo risk free. If you aren’t satisfied with the product, you can return it and get your money back or exchange it for another product.

Hang On To Those Receipt!

If you love to shop, you will learn to love return policies too. Hold onto your receipts in case you want to return a product. It’s not always required that you have your receipt in order to exchange a product, but it usually is required if you want a cash refund.

You don’t have to buy makeup at a cosmetics counter of your nearest department store to take advantage of money-back guarantee policies. Stores like CVS and Rite-Aid also have money-back guarantees that will allow you to return a makeup product if you are not satisfied with it. So, if you love to shop you aren’t even limited to where you shop since so many stores have return policies that favor the consumer.
