Do Name Brand Kitchen Appliances Really Make a Difference?

So it’s time to go shopping for kitchen appliances. You head out to the store and you notice that there’s a huge difference in price between the name brand kitchen appliances and the standard kitchen appliances. It may be tempting to save hundreds of dollars by going with the less-expensive brands, but you may be surprised to find out that the more expensive, name-brand kitchen appliances are probably your best bet.

What’s in a Name?

If you plan on selling your home any time soon, name brand kitchen appliance may actually get you more for your home than standard brand kitchen appliances will. A home that has name brand kitchen appliances featured in the kitchen will sell more quickly and will sell for more money than a home with cheaper appliances in the kitchen.

You Get What You Pay For

Name brand kitchen appliances also usually come with better warranties than standard brand kitchen appliances do, and the service you receive will usually be better. When dealing with high-end kitchen appliances, customer service calls will usually be handled more promptly and the technicians dispatched to service and/or repair your kitchen appliances will have more specialized training.

So when it’s time for you to look into purchasing new kitchen appliances, opt for high-end, name brand kitchen appliances.
